Strong looking team, nice to see Gourdis taking a central role. Smile
A worry Hughes is only an interchange player. Sad

Hope we see young Vickery with a game or two with Richmond later in the year to give him a taste of the top stuff.

Yeah, Hughes is named at CHF in the ressies too. He could be dropped.Sad

I think Schulz will be pushed to CHF if Gourdis can't quite handle it there yet. Good to see both my boys in the forward lineBig Grin Pity it's not for Richmond.

Looks like Vickery is ahead of Browne in developing.

Yes the feedback on Browne from Rawlings wasn't good.
Vickery is just a more mobile player who should have more upside with his around the ground work. Browne is a lumbering type who will need to show that he can provide a benefit around the ground as well as being ok in the ruck.

IMO opinion Browne's lack of progress over the year has been caused because he has attempted to dye his hair blonde. It is a well known fact that the better players for RFC currently have red hair.

In all seriousness, it's great to see Vickery coming along nicely and I sense a couple of AFL games coming up for him later in the year.
Browne will take time but I think he will get there. Just look at Gus and how long it has taken him to start looking like a solid performer at AFL level.
