The site does seem to need a bit of CPR though.

Is everyone happy with the draft selections? They look OK to me, but I still think we are short on a good backup ruckman.

I assume everyone saw that the hyphenated one has two mummies. Will no doubt get a big press piece eventually and please the progressive types on the board.

I think we need to draft a new president too given her maj's role in the NAB super scandals.

I think if you look at our bottom line the Prez is doing just fine.

I am happy with the selections I think we needed to invest heavily in Midfield back up. I get your point about a ruckmen though. Soldo will need to step up metinks

Im happy with the picks for the late picks we had

Dawkins looks a Cripps / Bontompelli type, will take time though

Jack Ross is very clean by hand and foot under pressure and doesnt panick and can play right away I will say WILL play round 1

Fraser Turner plays and moves exactly like Jared Polec

Luke English highlights dont stand out like rest but one thing he can do is run all day

Aarts as a rookie is alright as we all know what he can do

Mav Weller will offer our midfield some chop out and all 3 ex-suns asked the club to recruit him

and now we have asked AFL to have Sydney Stack train with us, a very talented WA boy overlooked in draft due to commitment
Has that much ability but not the mind so hopefully that changes
Harley Bennell ish

NAB's bottom line is doing fine too -- its "trust" that is the key issue. Not everyone in banking (or real estate Tongue  ) gets that.

I see someone has already done up the 2 mummies angle:

Agree with TH on Dawkins et al. But I don't quite understand the Weller drafting unless he's slated to be a specialist tagger

Thanks for the Tongue in Cheek reference  Smile

I believe it is for a tagging role. I think there's some potential there as well. I think most Saints would be shocked he was delisted. A mature body for depth that doesn't cost much, I can see some sense in that. Also the Suns and the Saints are 2 of the worst for developing talent.

Weller is a good character I think.

The thing that impressed me about Collier-Dawkins was his speed and willingness to brush aside tacklers. I like that sort of mindset.

Jack Higgins has spent his off season in the weights room - no more Chum puppy fat food for him. Looks big, in a good way.

I think Dan Butler will be the best inclusion for round one. He’s not a superstar but there’s something about his pace and skill that scares oppo defenses.

Turner - long term replacement for Grigg/Houli on the wing HB running role??

Why? Because he is a maverick?

I think the club needs to get beyond "deny, deny, deny" in 2019.

He went to the school my mum taught at (same school as our CEO incidentally)...given, that was a long time ago.
