Pretty strong team. Should be a good win. Lennon needs to kick a bag to stay in touch with Kayle for the Frosty.

Why was Miles a late out?

This alone may have turned the result.

I assume he was held over for the AFL game

Next week against ZeeBras is a must win game.

Lenon tried hard for his required 7 to stay in touch for the Frosty. Three means he is most likely out of the race now.

If this is the case, I find it a ridiculous call. The 2's were a curtain raiser to the main game. What purpose does it serve having him sit out the whole day? The only scenario that would require Miles to play in the seniors would be someone injurying themselves during the warm up & those are long odds.

However long those odds may be, the club would derelict in their duty if they did not have a proper replacement should someone go down in the warm up. This happened only last week when Johanessen from the Bulldogs withdrew after the warm.
Cheers!

You'd be amazed how often players are under a cloud to play until very late on game day. Usually they are close enough that they do play but always need the fall-back.
If you're committed enough, you can make any story work.

I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.
