Underrated Grimes stifling opponents

ALL the attention is on Dusty, Rance and Cotchin, but as Richmond’s premiership credentials grow, so does an unheralded defender.[Image: b.gif?host=www.heraldsun.com.au&blog=877...ef=&feed=1]

Massively under rated. 6 weeks since his direct opponent has kicked a goal!?

What ever happened to LukenCogs? I remember he was filthy when we picked him up years ago. I think he played on him in junior footy and didn't rate him.

he is in the mould of Gaspar , Silvagni etc all over opposition players like a cheap suit but never really giving away free kicks

good closing speed, good vertical leap and well suited to the stay light on your feet , clean & quick hands type of play that is so prevalent
plus light frame suited to covering a lot of km's in a game

as for the LukeNCogs , what he saw was real but the recruiters saw the potential and is a case of kept improving to what you have today
I feel the need , The need for SPEED

Grimes is every bit as good as Rance defending just doesnt intercept as much as him.
So it was Grimes who tore Gray a new one not McIntosh

Saw K-Mac on him once or twice, may have been a brief hand-over. Team effort. Who else saw Nank's full frontal rugby tackle on Gray in the third quarter, when Gray was in at a centre bounce? Team effort.

Seriously ? Wow , that's a mad stat.

He's absolutely vital to our chances of September success.

Not saying we can't win without him but we're a much better team with him in it.

Just praying to the cruel footy gods that his paper hammies can hold up for another few months.
