I've been a fan of Miles since he came to Richmond.

Watching the VFL today, I'm still perplexed why he is not a walk up start in our AFL team. He's good when the game is tight, he knows how to clog up play, he was instrumental in our maintaining our lead near the final siren.
Exactly what our seniors are missing.

Great win to an inexperienced lineup, some nice marks near the end by Broad.

That was hard fought, what a great win. Missing the captain and only 10 AFL listed players, Essendon had more experience. They just about won every stat except the scoreboard.

So who does he replace in the side?
Cheers!

On current form, I'd replace Edwards.

Edwards is a decent forward, but he is sub standard on the ball. Edwards should be competing for a place in the team with Rioli, Butler and Castagna imo.

With Edwards form we won't miss much, and potentially gain a lot with Miles input.

There's an argument he could replace many, prestia, Caddy, Edwards def havnt been setting the world on fire all year but I think it's more a pace issue with miles we want fast attacking footy where miles doesn't seem to suit that style and he did look lost when he has played seniors

It's pace and defensive running and efforts.

He can win the ball bur is too slow for structures and can't or won't run defensively.

He can't play the Caddy role, doesn't have the elite hands if Edwards and Prestia though his hands are good.

He was forced out from his former club and as we have got better, he can't bridge the gap between VFL match winner to AFL regular in a much faster season.

I like Miles but IMO he is great depth

Only problem with this Vossy, is I've seen Miles play some magnificent games for us. He's proven he can cut it at AFL level.

I'd say Miles best is better than what I've seen of Prestia's best so far.
