Please tell me you made that name up just now ?
Corey Ellis, been known as Silk from early on.

General question regarding those VFL side not aligned with an AFL side: wouldn't you expect their level of fitness to be inferior to that of a side containing many full time professional footballers with access to elite training programs and facilities? If so, wouldn't you also expect the latter to generally run over the top of the non-aligned team as the game wears on? (Maybe this happens – I just don't know that much about the different VFL sides, etc.)

I think it's one of those Aussie reverse humour nicknames ... do they call him "hard as cats head" as well? That would confirm the nickname to be a humourous one.

Mr Bowman, you would think so.

But generally, the non-aligneds will have more mature players with bigger bodies on their lists, whereas aligneds tend to have the newer and younger draft picks.

Second efforts at times and then just spectating. Just doesn't look as though he is part of the game.
@HKTiger, were you between the two benches? Or right next to the RFC one?

for those that don't know the ground at Willy is the most wind affected in the AFL/VFL
it has caught out many visiting players out over time

making Williamstown very hard to beat there
I feel the need , The need for SPEED
