Some movement in the top 5 with Deledio dropping from 2nd to 4th and Dusty and Jack each moving up one position in front of him. Luke McGuane retains his 5th position. Not bad for someone who many wrote off for most of last year. I feel that he is going to kick 6 goals this week!

1. Cotchin - 10.90 (6)
2. Martin - 10.52 (6)
3. Riewoldt - 9.29 (6)
4. Deledio - 9.15 (6)
5. McGuane - 8.74 (6)
6. Edwards - 8.27 (6)
7. King - 7.56 (5)
8. Jackson - 7.51 (6)
9. Vickery - 6.86 (6)
10. Morris - 6.71 (5)
11. Maric - 6.69 (6)
12. Houli - 6.60 (6)
13. Rance - 6.53 (6)
14. Chaplin - 6.20 (5)
15. Conca - 5.98 (4)
16. Ellis - 5.30 (6 - 3 as sub)
17. Grigg - 5.24 (6)
18. Grimes - 5.23 (5)
19. Newman - 5.18 (6)

21. Tuck - 4.65 (4)
22. Petterd - 4.02 (5)
23. Batchelor - 3.27 (3)
24. Vlastuin - 1.59 ((2)
25. White - 1.24 (2)

I have taken the liberty of averaging the points for each player based on how many games they have played (for example, Cotchin has 10.90 points so far and has played 6 games. Therefore 10.90/6=1.82. So that is his score). I then re-organised them from largest to smallest again to see where they stood. I hope you don't mind me doing this Ned.

Anyhow, here is the averages up to Rd 6

When looking at the rankings please bear in mind that some players started as subs, while others were subbed off. But should still give a good indication.

7. Jackson - 9.47 - 7

17. Grigg - 6.5 - 7
18. Tuck - 6.35 - 5
19. Conca - 5.98 - 4
20. Knights - 5.72 - 5
21. Grimes - 5.23 - 5
22. Petterd - 4.02 - 5
23. Batchelor - 4.01 - 4
24. Vlastuin - 3.5 - 3
25. Stevenson - 1.96 - 1
26. White - 1.24 - 2
27. Foley - 0.96 - 1 (Sub: 1)
28. Nahas - 0.77 - 3 (Sub: 2)
29. Griffiths - 0.59 - 1
30. Helbig - 0.27 - 1

1 week off for Cotch and he goes from 1st to 4th! Edwards replaces McGuane in the top 5.

The positions change when you look at the average points per game. This Leaderboard looks like this after 7 rounds:

1. Stevenson - 1.96
2. Martin - 1.88
3. Cotchin - 1.82
4. Deledio - 1.72
5. Riewoldt - 1.66
6. King - 1.57
7. Conca - 1.50
8. Edwards - 1.45
9. McGuane - 1.44
10. Morris - 1.36
11. Jackson - 1.35
12. Chaplin - 1.27
13. Tuck - 1.27
14. Vlastuin - 1.17
15. Vickery - 1.14
16. Knights - 1.14
17. Rance - 1.12
18. Houli - 1.11
19. Maric - 1.09
20. Grimes - 1.05
21. Ellis - 1.04
22. Newman - 1.01
23. Batchelor - 1.00
24. Foley - 0.96
25. Grigg - 0.93
26. Petterd - 0.80
27. White - 0.62
28. Griffiths - 0.59
29. Helbig - 0.27
30. Nahas - 0.26

Apart from the first gamer scoring well, the rest of the top 5 show that they're playing consistent football. To me, the players that have played many of the 7 games that have scored less than 1 are the disappointments; in this case Grigg, Petterd. IMHO with their experience, they should score more than a 1 on average each round.
Cheers!
