2013 Yellow Sash Award - Round 10 v West Coast

20 members voted this round. I was expecting a few more given the great win!

The votes for this round are:

  1. Deledio - 2.75
  2. Vlastuin - 2.70
  3. Rance - 2.50
  4. White - 2.45
  5. Morris - 2.40
  6. S Edwards - 2.25
  7. Chaplin - 2.10
  8. Cotchin - 2.05
  9. Martin - 2.00
    Jackson - 2.00
  10. Newman - 1.95
  11. Riewoldt - 1.80
  12. Foley - 1.70
  13. Grigg - 1.60
    Houli - 1.60
  14. Maric - 1.50
    Vickery - 1.50
  15. King - 1.45
  16. A Edwards - 1.35
  17. Dea - 1.30
  18. Batchelor - 1.25
  19. Longergan - 0.85

Encouraging that every player that started on the ground received more than 1 vote. Only the Sub (Lonergan) received a sub 1 score. This shows me that it was more of an even team performance rather than a handful of players dominating.

That was probably because it was only on free to air in WA. There are always less votes in the foxtel-only games.

A.Edwards a bit stiff. Thought he was excellent.
If you told me you didn't miss me, I would more than likely call you a liar and walk away. Then, umm, find some place to get some ice cream to replenish the innocence you blackened with your filthy deceits. (I like strawberry).

Serviceable. Not excellent.
1 goal, lots and lots of almost marks.
The one thing I did like that surprised me was his effort when the ball hit he deck. More of that please....

Yeah only one goal but his pressure and movement around the ground was excellent.

Needs to be able find that separation so he can hold those grabs on the lead...agree that his movement and pressure were excellent. He played with some desperation. One of the big knocks on him prior to this year was consistency. He has set the bar for effort, pressure and intensity.

If he finds that consistency then we have a very useful player on our hands. At the very least until McBean, Griffiths or Elton can own that CHF position.
