Been a while since I've voted. Finally we had a game worth giving votes in...
Aaaaanyway. Here we go:
  • Reece Conca - 2 - Had a great game, especially in the first half. Starting to play at the level required.
  • Trent Cotchin - 2 - Was shut down early but shook the tag and was outstanding after half time.
  • Brett Deledio - 3 - Equal best on ground with I.Maric. Must be up there for the B&F
  • Shane Edwards - 2 - Had a good game along the HFF. Disposal has improved and has added being dangerous around goals to his skillset.
  • Brandon Ellis - 0 - Did a few good things but was poor overall. Looks to be tiring.
  • Ben Griffiths - 0 - Didn't really impact the game. Perhaps brought back in a bit too early.
  • Shaun Grigg - 2 - Had a great game, but still makes mistakes under pressure. Needs to win more contested ball.
  • Brad Helbig - 0 (as sub) - Came on and had little impact.
  • Bachar Houli - 2 - Was good, but still drops the occasional mark.
  • Daniel Jackson - 2 - Attack on the ball, disposal and goal kicking were great, but I still think he is best used as a tagger, and is currently playing in the midfield due to Foleys injury.
  • Jake King - 1 - Effort was outstanding and did some great things throughout, but failed to hit the scoreboard. Building form.
  • Ivan Maric - 3 - Groin injury? What groin injury? 41 hitouts and a goal says it all. In All-Australian contention.
  • Dustin Martin - 1 - Set up some great play through the midfield, but is still far from his best football.
  • Luke McGuane - 1 - His best game for the year. Effort was great and seems to have been working on his disposal. Still a bit clumsy with his movement.
  • Steven Morris - 1 - Battled hard after injuring his shoulder early in the game. Will surely win our best first year player award.
  • Robin Nahas - 2 - Was shut down early but managed to be damaging late. Need to see more movement.
  • Chris Newman - 0 - Seemed to be being tagged, which has become a weakness of ours. Was courageous at times. Not surprised if he's carrying an injury.
  • Jayden Post - 0 - Disposal and decision making were poor. Disappointing.
  • Alex Rance - 1 - Had a good battle with Brown which he eventually lost. Was intercepting more, which is great to see.
  • Jack Riewoldt - 1 - Was innacurate in front of goal, but was moving much better than recent times, leading up and leaping at the ball. Needs to play like that every week.
  • Shane Tuck - 2 - Was the usual Tuck we know and love. Won plenty of the hard ball. Deserves a contract extension.
  • Matt White - 1 - Was alright. Fought with desperation, kicked a good goal, and worked hard overall. Deserves to keep his spot on the list.
If you told me you didn't miss me, I would more than likely call you a liar and walk away. Then, umm, find some place to get some ice cream to replenish the innocence you blackened with your filthy deceits. (I like strawberry).
