2010 Y & B Player Sponsorships

It's time again to launch the Yellow and Black Player Sponsorships for the forthcoming season.

In 2010, each sponsorship costs $650 - the same price as last year. This represents the Richmond Football Club "Player's Club Option B" Premium Sponsorship package.



I'm yet to receive confirmation of what Yellow and Black Website will receive as part of this package however, in the past the following were part of the package:

• 'www.yellowandblack.com.au' on our sponsored player’s locker for Season 2010.
• Invitation to the exclusive Dinner function with the 2010 playing group (one ticket per member) - these will be offered to Members who contribute towards the Sponsorship.
• Invitation for two people to attend the Locker-viewing Cocktail Party at Punt Road Oval - once again, these will be offered to those Members who contribute towards the Y & B Sponsorships.
• Signed photo of your sponsored player - once again, these will be offered to those Members who contribute towards the Y & B Sponsorships.
• $50 Tiger Den gift voucher (last year, these were given to site members who ran site competitions and assisted towards the Yellow and Black Website community.).

NOTE: The Grand Final guarantee has been removed from the package and the wording, "Signed photo of your sponsored player" indicates that you won't have your photo taken with them.

As each sponsorship costs $650, I'm calling on Members to contribute 20 shares of $35 each - $700 in total.

This is the same contribution as in previous years. This will be distributed as:

• $650.00 pays for the player sponsorship
• $ 50.00 will cover Bank and/or PayPal fees with the balance going towards hosting of this website

You may contribute in one of the of the following ways:

• Go to the Paid Subscriptions page (or click on the "Paid Subscriptions" link in your UserCP) and select the "Player Sponsor" option which will require you to pay through PayPal. You can either use any money you have in PayPal, or your credit card. I have configured the payments page to handle up to 20 shares per transaction.
• Write a cheque for $35.00 per share (made payable to "Yellow and Black Website") and send it to:

• Direct Deposit your share/s into the site's account at the Commonwealth Bank (make sure that you put your site Username as a note on the deposit so I know who you are and PM me with the date and time of your deposit).

  I will acknowledge each bank deposit by PM once the payment shows up on my onliine bank statement (usually 24-48 hours after your deposit).

All Player Sponsors will be given "Full Member" privileges until the end of November 2010. This is normally worth $35.00 per year and will allow you to post non-business advertisements in the "Classifieds" Forum, give you increased storage for attachments and avatars, increased Private Messaging storage, and more.

If you have any questions, please post them in this thread. I'll post a poll in a new thread to find out which will be the first player we sponsor once we receive some sponsorship money.....in the meantime, please give me your suggestions on who we should sponsor.

Me too, I've been and gone and done it.

Funny setup that CBA. Ned won't get notification of my payment until tomorrow as I used my Username for reference. If I had used my postcode instead it would have gone straight through.

I wasn't thinking. Shopping days always gets me ratty - mad Mondays and all!

Honestly? No idea - it depends on whether players are still available for this class of Sponsorship.

All going well, we can keep going until February/March next year.
