It just makes you think how much more stats the big man could of piled on. But then again, that would go for anyone else that suffered a blow from the injury Gods.

Still, a remarkable effort from a remarkable player.

Re: Richo is rated as one of the Tigers' best

You'll get no argument from me, Mike. He was, indeed, a remarkable player.

I just think he was very unfortunate that he hadn't played in a better-skilled team. He had to bust himself every time he went out on the park.

Here's some figutres I had collected for an article [hears groan of 'not more stats!' but continues unfazed]

Bartlett 403 games, average per game 1.9 goals.

Dyer 312, 1.4

Hart 187, 2.0

Richo 282, 2.8

Roach 200, 3.0

Titus 294, 3.3

The biggest surprise for me was Brian Taylor's figures. In his 43 games with us he averaged 3.6 goals. If you factor in his nearly 100 games with the Skunks his average goes up to 3.8.

Makes me beg the question did we do the right thing letting him go?

It depends on the circumstances of his departure. Push/pulled etc. Before my time to be honest. I guess those old farts would remember, and not be shy of an opinion.
