Site update

 I've been busy at work lately and haven't had the time to devote to the site recently. I had a couple of hours spare tonight and have done some maintenance and installed some add-ins which I'll test over the next couple of days:
- Downloads - those of you who have been around for a little while will remember that I used to have a few downloads available such at "Richo Man", and a few videos. I'm currently testing this and will release it shortly
- Chatbox - I'm testing a new version of the Chatbox. JT found it before I locked it down :)
- Signed up a new Advertiser - Runbox Premium E-mail. If you want a solid e-mail host, click on this link (or the others you'll find throughout the site) and try the free 30 day trial.
During the next week or so I'll upgrade the Forum software to the latest version - 3.8.2.
Some of the issues fixed include:- Social group dicussion email notifications don't always work
- Access masks not reset properly with paid subscriptions
- Friend requests received by users that should not receive them
- Profile field category privacy ignored in "About Me" tab
- BB code case maintained when not parsed
- External.php feeds don't handle thread]/post BB code properly
- Avatars show up in social groups/visitor messages when users don't have permission
There have also been improvements made to the Social Group Subscriptions.
I'll let you know when the site will be down so I can upgrade it. The downtime will only be approximately 15 minutes.
I'm also testing the Newsletter software again (yes...I hear you saying, "Oh noooooo!"). I'm really keen to make this newsletter software work but am having difficulties getting it to receive in my inbox the way it previews before sending. Very frustrating!!!!
I'd like to hear from those people who have received the newsletter as to whether it's arrived in your inbox with the site's colour scheme or not. I'd also like to know if you haven't received an e-mail (check to make sure you've agreed to receive the "Community Bulletin" in your UserCP).
