For members who joined after last season - and those of you who may have forgotten, the system works this way:
Each week, a player list will be posted in this forum. Each member of the site can give
each player votes using the following criteria:
- 3 points = outstanding game
- 2 points = very good game
- 1 point = solid, handy, useful game
- 0 points = didn't do enough/beaten by opponent/too many errors
The voting for each round will close on Thursday morning (or as soon as I can work commitments permitting). As a different number of Members will cast votes each week, every player's total will be divided by the number of voters to arrive at their score for that round.
No discussion is permitted in the voting thread until the votes have been tallied. Once the votes for the Round have been tallied and the 22 player's votes for the round have been posted, the thread will be opened for posting. If you wish to discuss the voting before then, please create a thread elsewhere.
Votes posted directly into the week's thread will not count. Only votes given using the each week's form will be counted. The votes are collated directly from the database therefore the thread exists only so that members can view each other's votes. In the case of duplicate votes received for the same round from the same member, the first votes posted will count - the duplicates will be deleted.
A 'sticky' thread will be created to record the Year to Date standings of each player. This thread will be open to discussion.
